The Warranty on your New Catalytic Converter is Important to You! Converter Warehouse provides full warranties on all catalytic converters. This warranty complies with all EPA regulations and statutes.
Following is the specific warranty that pertains to your new catalytic converter. As mandated by the United States EPA this warranty is the same for all new after market catalytic converters and their manufacturers. It is valuable to note that any replacement converter purchased from a car dealer has only a 12 month or 12,000 mile limit on the warranty. This is considerably less than aftermarket cats. All new catalytic converters sold which meets EPA requirements must be properly labeled and warranted to comply with the Federal Durability and Performance Standards Act. New after market catalytic converters must have a 5 year / 50,000 mile warranty on the converter shell, casing and end pipes and a 25,000 mile warranty on the converter insides or substrate. It must meet all EPA's emission Performance Standards when the vehicle is properly used and maintained. Used converters are only required to meet the performance requirements at the time of sale; no additional extended warranty is required, given or implied!
Converter Warehouse sells only New Catalytic Converters that comply with all EPA warranty requirements. Converter Warehouse does not or will not sell Used or Rebuilt catalytic converters. We strongly advise against purchasing a Used or Rebuilt catalytic converter. Distributors selling these type converters are not required to extend any warranty whatsoever after the sale and are not subject to any requirements such as testing or certification as set forth by United States EPA guidelines.
